  This spot is known for their wings, and that why we were there. a large group from work decided to give this place a go, for a workplace happy hour get together. Our wait staff was awesome, taking care of a group of about 20 (or so) of us...they worked their butts off!!!
  
  Nice beer selection and good prices during Happy Hour. We ordered a bunch of baskets of their homemade chips with a zippy dipping sauce. Let me tell you, more baskets of these chips were ordered than any thing else. Lots of other appetizers were flowing, including onion straws, potato skins, loaded fries, etc. All were pretty tasty.
  
  For a main meal, I wanted to try wings, but had also heard good things about their house-dipped corn dogs. For a buck during Happy Hour...why not?!?!? The corn dog had an elephant ear batter texture to it, which I really liked.
  
  As for the wings, a co-worker and I decided to split two flavors, so we could try them both. We chose a traditional (medium heat) buffalo as well as a garlic parmesan (another of my go-to wing flavors). Both were quite good...crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and not overly drowned in sauce. Blue cheese dressing for dipping on the side, and we were good-to-go!
  
  A fun, local spot with plenty of meal options and TVs a-plenty made for an enjoyable evening and a solid meal.

  We finally made It here! I heard about the wings so we tried the garlic parm, mini loaded fries (which was large) and the chicken parm sandwich. I had a tall beer and hubby had a soft drink ALL of the food was good and you cannot BEAT the happy hour prices! We will be back and I probably try a mule or get one of the 10.00 mixed drink pitchers.

  Came here every week to play queen of hearts. Today they say that they are out of tickets.  What a scam. Doesn't seem right. They lost a loyal weekly customer.they found some after allot of people complaining

  This was my favorite place for wings but the  entire place smells like an ashtray. The staff is so kind and fast but the bartenders don't know how to pour. Cheap on the alcohol with the cocktails. Maybe I'll be back during summer when the patio opens and it doesn't smell like ass.

  Visited Characters Bar on 12/26/2018. I ordered the $3.75 steak special and fresh cut fries. My companion ordered the wings and loaded fries from the happy hour menu. Everything was delivered hot and fresh to our table. Our waitress Danielle went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Food was cheap, service was great and I would definitely go back. The only downside is the cigarette smoke from the designated area enters the main area, it was very strong. I would opt to sit in the back of the bar next time to avoid the smell.
